Idaho Attorney Jesse Michael Wheiler

Idaho AttorneyJesse Michael Wheiler was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on April 28, 1956. He graduated from Preston High School in 1974 and then attended Ricks College for one year.

He completed his education at Utah State University in 1981 with a double major in history and education and a minor in English.

Mr. Wheiler taught history and English at Preston Junior High School for one year and then attended law school at the University of Idaho from 1982 to 1985. Idaho attorney Jesse Michael Wheiler was a member of the Idaho Law Review and a member of the American Bar Association's moot court team.

In 1985, Mr. Wheiler joined the Power County Prosecuting Attorney's office where he handled all of the criminal related matters and maintained a small private practice. Mr. Wheiler was with the firm of Holden, Kidwell, Hahn & Crapo from 1986-1990 as a litigation attorney in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, and malpractice defense. He has been a member of Thomsen Stephens since 1990 practicing in the areas of general litigation, insurance defense, employment law, health care law, medical malpractice defense and whistle blower law. He is an active member of the Idaho State Bar Association, the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel, the International Association of Defense Counsel and DRI. He is licensed to practice in Idaho State courts, the Federal District Court for the District of Idaho, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
